- Nine months on the permitA learner under 19 holds the permit nine months, unless they are 18 with a high school diploma.

- A ticket restarts the nine monthsA conviction or probation before judgement resets the wait to nine months from that date.
- Classes and instructor timeThe 6 instructor hours are separate from the 60. They do not reduce them.
